In an electrifying conclusion to the Miss Universe 2024 competition, Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina made history as the first runner-up at the 73rd edition of the pageant.
Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark claimed the crown, succeeding Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, the Miss Universe 2023 titleholder.
The grand finale took place at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. This year’s event featured intense competition among 126 contestants from around the globe, including 18 representatives from African nations such as Nigeria, Angola, and Egypt.
